Description
This 30 sq.m. VFCW has been deployed in 2017 for the treatment of wastewater coming from a coastal community. Herein, the DCWD in collaboration with the DOST XI has has funded, designed and constructed by a public toilet facility with integrated wastewater treatment system to introduce proper sanitation to urban poor communities while preserving the natural environment. The project has been implemented under the Public Hygiene & Sanitation Upgrading Program (PUSHUP).
