The Climate Cafe River Scan Challenge 2025 in Cebu is a collaborative project involving Filipino and Dutch students from Rotterdam University, Hanze University, and the University of San Carlos. Over the course of two weeks, participants are tasked with developing solutions to address the various problems and challenges affecting their assigned river.
The Paknaan river is a waterway located in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. It plays a vital role in local drainage and flood control, especially during rainy season. The river flows through several urban and residential areas.
